About The Position

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center offering advanced behavioral health and diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults through inpatient and outpatient programs. Our mission is to provide excellent diagnosis, treatment, and education, restoring hope and enabling patients to lead more productive, fulfilling lives. In our Outpatient center, licensed therapists facilitate group therapy focusing on mental health topics such as recovery, relapse prevention, and coping skills, aiming to reduce symptoms of mental illness and stabilize individuals for safe and productive lives. This is a Full-time Outpatient Therapist position focused on Mental Health and Dual Diagnosis treatment for Adults and Adolescents. The role involves clinical assessment, treatment of designated patients, discharge planning, and participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team, with a focus on traditional outpatient therapy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years clinical expertise in individual, group, family and marital therapy
• Previous experience in clinical assessment, case management, discharge planning
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Must have a LPC or LCSW
• 1+ year experience in a similar environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group therapy
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments
• Manage a caseload of up to 12-15
• Coordinate care with family and external providers
• Safety planning
• Discharge planning
• Assume responsibility for all aspects of clinical assessment
• Treatment of designated patients in the Hampton Counseling Center
• Discharge planning as needed
• Participation as a member of multidisciplinary treatment team
• Responsible for traditional outpatient therapy with our patients
