As a Speech Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist), you will be instrumental in empowering individuals across the lifespan by evaluating and treating a diverse range of communication and swallowing disorders. You will address challenges related to speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, auditory processing, and/or dysphagia, significantly enhancing patients' functional abilities and quality of life. Every day you will conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing impairments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapeutic interventions. You will collaborate closely with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic care, facilitate functional independence, and support optimal recovery in various settings.
