About The Position

As a Speech Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist), you will be instrumental in empowering individuals across the lifespan by evaluating and treating a diverse range of communication and swallowing disorders. You will address challenges related to speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, auditory processing, and/or dysphagia, significantly enhancing patients' functional abilities and quality of life. Every day you will conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing impairments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapeutic interventions. You will collaborate closely with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic care, facilitate functional independence, and support optimal recovery in various settings. To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional diagnostic acumen, therapeutic skill, compassionate communication, and critical thinking are crucial for delivering evidence-based care and achieving meaningful, individualized outcomes for each patient.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree Speech-Language Pathology
• License Washington State as Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence within one (1) year
• Certification CPR
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent clinical judgment
