About The Position

This position will be located at our Adult Outpatient Services in Dothan, Al
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
ALABAMA STATE RETIREMENT AVAILABLE

Requirements

• Masters degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work or related field
• Completion of a relevant clinical practicum
• Two years post masters experience preferred
• Must be willing to obtain AADA certification within 2 years of hire
• Licensure as an LCSW or LPC in the state of Alabama is preferred but not required
• good background check and MVR and a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to clients of the system's substance abuse and mental illness units
• Employ various clinical and social treatment skills and approaches
• Provides clinical intakes, psychotherapy, documentation, coordination with agency services and response to emergency situations
• Travel may be required within the five county catchment area and/or statewide as needed
