This position is responsible for leading and supervising activities for special needs populations and Parks, Recreation and Community Services programs. The role involves supervising and monitoring participants, assisting in planning and coordination of activities, and ensuring safe transportation of program participants. The leader will also assist with program setup, teardown, and cleanup, interact positively with participants and families, and enforce departmental rules and regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining facilities and equipment, attending staff meetings, assuming lead worker responsibilities, assisting with emergency situations, preparing equipment and supplies, and maintaining accurate reports. This is a variable hour, at-will position with no guaranteed hours.
