About The Position

Stonehenge Therapeutic Community provides a range of residential and community-based treatment services to individuals struggling with addiction and concurrent mental health issues. We recognize the role that trauma, marginalization, and oppression play in impacting the wellbeing of those we serve. Grounded in the Therapeutic Community model of treatment, the agency is committed to taking the journey together and supporting those with whom we work to grow, thrive, and contribute to society. Stonehenge’s Residential program is a Therapeutic Community ("TC"), which is a group-based, highly structured, and powerful treatment approach to substance use recovery. At our Residential center, we work with adult individuals with a history of chronic or acute substance abuse concerns, with or without co-occurring mental health diagnosis. Many of the individuals we work with also have current or previous involvement with the correctional system. "We believe that every individual has the capacity to grow and contribute to society" About the Role: Therapeutic Community Facilitator ("TCF") staff play an integrated role in supporting the day‑to‑day functioning of the residential program by upholding the Therapeutic Community model, facilitating psycho‑educational and therapeutic groups, and supporting essential residential and logistical operations. This role combines Therapeutic Community coaching, group facilitation, and practical residential coordination, requiring staff to work relationally with all members of the Community. TCF staff provide real-time feedback to Residents, maintain program activity structure, accountability, and overall Therapeutic Community program flow.
