About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, people with developmental disabilities, and people who have experienced extreme trauma. Its care teams include mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, case managers, and psychiatrists. The Therapeutic Behavioral Support Specialist provides services to individuals or groups, consulting with a licensed clinician to support clients’ needs and treatment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, a high school diploma, or at least three years of relevant field experience.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services in consultation with a licensed clinician to assist with an individual's needs.
• Plan individualized supports or coordinate healthcare, behavioral health, and non-healthcare services, including developing a treatment plan.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, restoration of daily living skills, and crisis prevention services.
• Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
• Promote positive and cooperative relationships with outside contacts.
