About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, people with developmental disabilities, and people affected by extreme trauma. Clients are supported by a team that includes mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, case managers, and psychiatrists. The Therapeutic Behavioral Support Specialist provides behavioral services in consultation with a licensed clinician, supporting clients' individual needs and treatment plans. Services may be delivered to individuals or groups. The position is full-time and pays $18.20–$20.90.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, a high school diploma, or at least three years of relevant field experience.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services in consultation with a licensed clinician to address an individual's needs.
• Plan individualized supports and coordinate healthcare, behavioral health, and non-healthcare services, including developing treatment plans.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, daily living skills restoration, and crisis prevention services.
• Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
• Promote positive and cooperative relationships with outside contacts.
