About The Position
The Eastman Community Music School (ECMS), a division of the Eastman School of Music and the University of Rochester, offers music lessons, ensembles, and classes to community members of all ages and backgrounds. ECMS serves approximately 1,700 students during the school year and hundreds more each summer. Its programs range from preschool and early childhood offerings to college prep and diploma programs, as well as adult ensembles and classes. ECMS nurtures and inspires students at all levels. The substitute teacher will teach Theory in Motion classes as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven record as an outstanding teacher and performer.
- Strong desire to work in a group setting.
Nice To Haves
- BM or MM degree preferred.
- Involvement in national professional organizations.
