About The Position

Do you have skills at all levels of theater production, including stagehand, wardrobe, stage management, lighting, and sound? Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience in technical theater support.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with staff, visiting artists, and the general public.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common and technical journals.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community.
• Ability to add, subtract, and calculate percentages, ratios, and proportions for practical situations.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Regularly required to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Must sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel, see, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Must lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, and color vision.
• Must be agile enough to work on catwalks up to 45 feet above ground.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties at all levels of theater production, including stagehand, wardrobe, stage management, lighting, and sound.
• Work with a dynamic team across stages, both indoors and outdoors.
• Be available for a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
