About The Position
To assist with creation and maintenance of the costumes for the Theater and Dance Department productions.
Requirements
- At least one-year previous work in this position
- Ability to wind and load a bobbin, thread the machine, and change the needle on both domestic and industrial sewing machines with minimal assistance or supervision
- Ability to pin, machine stitch, and press with precision after instruction is given.

Responsibilities
- Construction and alteration of all costume elements for the Theater and Dance Department mainstage productions.
- Maintain, launder, and repair costumes during the run of the performances
- Assist in maintaining costume stock
- Assist in general shop upkeep
