About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Thai language tutor for a client in Wilmington, DE. This is a one-to-one general Thai language course consisting of 13 sessions, each lasting two hours, for a total of 26 hours. The lessons can take place at the teacher's home/office or a public location in Wilmington, DE. The student is a 30-year-old gentleman with a beginner's level of Thai, motivated to travel more freely in Thailand. The schedule is flexible, with options for sessions once per week on Monday or Tuesday after 5 pm, or anytime on Saturday or Sunday. The course is expected to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Native Thai speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Ability to live within 20 miles of Wilmington, DE.
- Submit CV with references (if available).
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Thai language training to a beginner student.
- Conduct 13 sessions of 2 hours each, totaling 26 hours.
- Adapt the schedule and location based on mutual availability.
- Communicate with Language Trainers regarding student progress and course details.
