About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance French Teacher for a client in Burlington, Canada. This is a part-time, freelance position with a total of 100 hours, consisting of two-to-one business French lessons. Each session will be two hours long, scheduled three times per week between Tuesday and Thursday. The student is a beginner, aged 25-34, and aims to speak French in a work setting within 9 months due to an upcoming move to Quebec. The lessons will take place at the client's office at L8J 3X5, Burlington. The preferred start date is as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Native French speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Hold a valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 30 km of Burlington, Canada (L8J 3X5).
- Submit CV with references (if available).
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching business French.
- Experience teaching students with a goal of workplace fluency within 9 months.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized business French training to a beginner student.
