About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Thai Teacher for a client in Austin, United States. This is a one-to-one general course with a total of 50 hours, with sessions of two hours each. The student is a beginner, aged 35-44, and the schedule is flexible, with Wednesday evenings around 4pm-7pm being most convenient. The motivation for the lessons is to improve pronunciation and confidence for the husband, gain confidence in basic conversational Thai for the wife, and for the children to pick up the language. The position is freelance and part-time.
Requirements
- Native Thai speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (78758, Austin).
- Ability to teach the whole family.
- Willingness to teach a 1-hour course option for the 4-year-old.
- Submit CV with references (if available).
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
- Meet the stated conditions.
Responsibilities
