About The Position

Flex is seeking a Testing Technician in Des Moines, Iowa, to electrically test control panels and enclosures. Reporting to the Testing Supervisor, this role applies electrical theory and related knowledge to verify that wiring matches schematics and to troubleshoot and resolve errors. The technician provides technical assistance with electrical or engineering problems, modifies electrical parts and systems to correct functional deviations, and operates test equipment to evaluate systems under simulated operating conditions and record results. The role also implements quality assurance policies during inspections and functional testing, helps ensure products meet customer expectations, and may occasionally represent the company while working with customers. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a technical degree or six months to one year of experience, and working knowledge of AC and DC electrical circuitry.
