About The Position

ABM Electrical Power Services is hiring a Test Technician Level 1 to build a career in electrical power testing. Under the direct supervision of certified NETA Technicians, the technician gains field experience testing electrical power systems in low-, medium-, and high-voltage environments. The role includes hands-on learning, infrared scanning, data analysis, and technical reporting, with a defined path toward NETA certification. No prior experience or high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required; on-the-job training is provided. Travel with the crew may be required up to 10% of the time within the designated territory. Pay is $35.00–$45.45 per hour, with offers varying according to factors such as education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. The role may also be eligible for a company incentive or bonus program.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Support certified NETA Technicians in field testing assignments.
