About The Position

The Test Technician is responsible for supporting the production line. This role involves the inspection and maintenance of engineering test equipment, tools, and server room assets. The technician will coordinate testing processes, including setting up new stations, prioritizing tasks, and conducting product testing. Active involvement in the repair and fault analysis of failed test products is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the role requires manual and electronic data recording, production support, and collaboration with test engineers. The technician will provide relevant information to the Engineering Department, report any issues to their supervisor and Engineering, and perform additional installation tasks. Monitoring of server operations, timely notification to Engineering about spare parts depletion, and responsible use of tools and high-value components are also expected.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High school education.
  • Entry level position with interest in IT related field.
  • Proficiency in technical English.
  • User-level knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft operating systems (including Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows Server 2016).
  • Knowledge of computer networks.
  • Strong technical orientation.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Detailed oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of IT fundamentals.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux, Virtual Network is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection and maintenance of engineering test equipment, tools, and server room assets.

  • Active involvement in the repair and fault analysis of failed test products.

  • Providing the Engineering Department with relevant information as needed.
  • Performing additional installation tasks.
  • Monitoring of server operations.
  • Timely notification to Engineering about the depletion of spare parts.
  • Responsible for the safe and undamaged use of tools and high-value components, and for ensuring their availability.
