About The Position

Valeo is a global tech company focused on designing innovative solutions for the future of mobility, aiming for greener and safer transportation. As a Test Tools Engineering Intern, you will support Test Tool Developer Engineers in various aspects of the test tool lifecycle, from concept and documentation to development, procurement, and troubleshooting. This is a year-round internship opportunity for a current student or recent graduate passionate about new technologies and eager to learn test tool development processes.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field OR Recent Graduate.
Technical level skills of Electronics and/or computer science topics.
Desire to learn/acquire test tool development process skills.
Passion for new technologies.

Nice To Haves

Any of the following programming languages: Python, LabVIEW, Matlab, C, C++.
Good understanding of basic computational concepts.
Understanding of Network, switches, TCP.
Linux.

Responsibilities

Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in the documentation of Test Tool Concept.
Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in the definition of Test Tool Concept.
Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in the development of test automation scripts.
Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in HW procurement process.
Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in Tool acceptance assessment.
Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in Set-Up of Tool Development stations.
Support Test Tool Developer Engineers in debug / troubleshooting of Tool Development stations.
Creates documentation of tools.
Back up documentation and test scripts following Valeo standards (SVN).
Continuous identification of areas for improvement.
