About The Position

This opportunity is located within our Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company business, a global leader of mission-critical hardware and systems solutions including precision energetics systems and innovative explosive solutions. EBAD seeks a Test Technician, reporting to the ATL Test Lead. This is a second shift position located in Moorpark, CA. The Test Technician position supports electrical and mechanical testing of our non-energetic product lines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Candidates must be able to work independently and interface with individuals at multiple levels in the organization.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem solving and communication skills are required.
• Candidates must be able to interpret and execute test requirements provided in written specifications.
• Experience working in an aerospace industry is preferred.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in a test lab environment with exposure to several of the following areas: Instrumentation/Equipment Pressure transducers Multimeters Milliohmeters Hipot testers Pulse Generators Voltage and Current Supplies Oscilloscopes (DAQs) Test Equity Temperature Chambers Instron Tensile testers

• Microsoft Word and Excel Proficiency
• Intron Tensile tester programming (Bluehill Universal Software)
• Watlow F4 and F4T programming

Responsibilities

• Test evaluation, set-up and performance
• Equipment preventive maintenance and calibration
• Test data reporting and plotting
• Equipment troubleshooting and repair
• Primary responsibility will be evaluation, set-up and performance of electrical tests, mechanical loading and proofing.
• Testing will be performed in accordance with written procedures, MIL-STD’s and industry specifications.
• Test data will be generated to support customer requirements.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
