About The Position
EARN up to $2600/WEEK Flextrades is hiring Test Techs with 4+years recent experience for a 3 month contract in VIRGINIA. Pay: $42/hr 50hrs/week GUARANTEED (OT over 40). $45 per diem (tax-free), 7 days a week. Private hotel accommodations (we handle the booking). References Required. Must pass a background check and drug test. Travel time compensation.
Requirements
- 4+ recent years commercial HVAC/chiller service, data-center cooling, industrial refrigeration, electrical testing, controls, and HVAC equipment manufacturing.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
Nice To Haves
- EPA 608 Type II, EPA 608 Type III, or EPA 608 Universal license/certification
- Proficient in: HVAC Maintenance
- Proficient in: HVAC Troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Support final testing, troubleshooting and repair activities on completed HVAC/data center chiller units.
- The role is primarily focused on testing completed units in test bay areas
- Completing electrical Hi-Pot and Megger testing, dry testing, energized run testing, performance/wet testing support, component testing, troubleshooting, repair work, wiring, and assembly on completed chiller units.
- Testing includes chillers and related components such as fans, sensors, calibration items, compressors, valves, transformers, PLC boards, power supplies, HMIs, relays, lights, receptacles, and pumps.
- Also testing valves which include manual, electric, and modulating valves.
