This position is for a Test Technician II on the 2nd shift. The role involves performing functional testing of products according to established procedures, monitoring tests, recording data, and servicing test equipment. The technician will document test results, demonstrate proficiency with tools and equipment, and ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. This role also requires compliance with quality systems, continuous improvement efforts, and meeting customer deadlines. The technician will acquire necessary skills and certifications, adhere to safety and hazardous waste disposal programs, and follow production schedules and quality requirements. Understanding the end use of manufactured products is important. The role requires proficient use of computer tools like SAP and work instructions, initiative to keep processes on schedule, and the ability to train others. Interfacing with other functional groups to resolve business-related problems and participating in waste minimization and audits are also key aspects of the position. Tools and supplies will be requested as needed.
