Test Systems Software Product Engineer
About The Position
The Test Systems Software Product Engineer modifies and maintains Python-based test software for production and development programs, validates new software builds, and troubleshoots software issues affecting test systems. The role also develops custom Python-based solutions for qualification and design verification testing, supports test functionality for Moog Industrial Motor DS2110 controllers, and assists with troubleshooting and bug investigation for NI LabVIEW servovalve test software. The engineer collaborates with engineering and operations teams to identify root causes and improve test system performance, and provides software-related technical support to operators and test engineers. This is an onsite position in Buffalo, New York, reporting to the Engineering Manager. The position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and access to U.S. export-controlled information.
Requirements
- Three years of relevant experience.
- Significant coding and debugging experience with Python and LabVIEW.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor's degree in Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering is preferred; another STEM Engineering degree may be considered with significant Python and LabVIEW coding and debugging experience.
