About The Position

This position operates in a Test Lab and requires the constant use of a computer, tools, and test equipment. The role involves capturing serial numbers of boards, verifying and organizing production boards, and performing visual inspections. Additionally, the Test Operator will assist senior team members in verifying impedance of power planes, resolving test-related issues, and identifying manufacturing defects or concerns with test documentation. The role also includes assisting with other required tasks in the Test Labs as needed.

Requirements

• Constant operation of a computer, tools, and test equipment.
• Moving printed circuit boards and equipment weighing up to 20lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Past IPC certification is a plus.
• Basic knowledge or experience handling DMM (digital multimeter) is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or production of printed circuit boards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Capture serial numbers of boards received in the Test Lab.
• Verify and organize production boards received in the Test Lab.
• Verify impedance of power planes on assembled PCBs under supervision of senior team members.
• Work with team members to resolve issues that may arise during the test.
• Perform visual inspections.
• Identify and report manufacturing defects, as needed.
• Identify and report concerns with test documentation to senior team members.
• Assists with other required tasks in the Test Labs, as needed.
