About The Position

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated provides enabling technologies for industrial growth markets that require advanced technology and high reliability, including aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research. Teledyne Micropac is seeking a Test Operator to execute and perform routine assembly functions under the direction of the Test Supervisor. The role requires cooperation and efficient work with other employees, strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and attention to detail. The company is willing to train candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and accept new job assignments.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Basic computer skills are a necessity
Must be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and accept new assignment
The ability to read engineer drawings and complete paperwork
Must possess an excellent attendance and work record
Strong ability to problem solving
Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact in a team environment

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of related assembly experience or training
Have demonstrated leadership ability, good organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

Cooperate and work efficiently with other employees to carry out specific detailed instructions
Laser part marking
Ink part marking (involves the use of chemicals)
Solder Dipping (involves the use of chemicals)
Serialization
Testing parts
PIND testing
Other assignments when needed
