About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Test Manager for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. A QA Team Lead manages the day-to-day testing operations, guides quality engineers, and ensures software releases meet required reliability and functionality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and will be responsible for directing the team on testing and automation strategies.

Requirements

Hands-on testing experience within background
Deep understanding of manual and automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and bug-tracking tools
Clear ability to relay technical risks and project metrics to non-technical stakeholders and internal team members
Early identification of potential software flaws and planning mitigation strategies before release

Responsibilities

Design comprehensive test plans, define quality metrics, and establish milestones for software releases
Assign tasks, oversee manual and automated testing progress, and run daily team stand-ups
Coach junior testers, share advanced QA expertise, and help resolve complex technical bugs
Coordinate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align testing timelines and prevent production issues
Track defect resolution, document procedures, and update management on project status and release readiness
