Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain API automation test frameworks using Karate Framework, REST Assured, and related automation tools.
Create and execute automated test scripts for REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and backend integrations.
Integrate automated API test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Validate API functionality, schema, performance, security, and data integrity across distributed applications.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps teams, and business analysts to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
Implement test reporting, logging, and quality metrics using tools such as Allure, Extent Reports, and SonarQube.
Perform root cause analysis of defects, troubleshoot test failures, and support production releases.
Ensure automation frameworks follow coding standards, reusability, scalability, and enterprise QA best practices.
