About The Position

The Electrical/Software Engineer designs and supports aerospace test equipment within Collins Aerospace’s Mechanical Power Conversion division. The equipment supports production, research and development, and qualification testing of military and commercial aerospace products, including fuel pumps, air turbine starters, blowers, gearboxes, and lube and scavenge pumps. The role combines electrical control-system design, hardware selection, LabVIEW software development, and test-equipment verification and validation. The engineer works with cross-functional teams to develop, estimate, design, build, commission, and support test systems. The position is onsite in Rockford, Illinois, and requires U.S. citizenship because of program access restrictions. It requires a STEM degree and at least two years of relevant experience.
