Requirements
- Enrolled in a program to acquire a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Civil / Structural Engineering & Mechanical Engineers considered) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Any experience with gas turbine special test equipment and facilities.
- Any experience with AutoCAD, NX 3D Modeling, ANSYS Workbench, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Gain design experience of Special Test Equipment (STE) while working with electrical and operations engineers to develop complex systems needed to support jet engine testing.
- Develop and lead a technical design from start to finish.
- Work closely with a team of mechanical engineers and a project engineer to develop solutions.
- Anticipated travel is less than 10%.
