Test Engineering Intern
About The Position
Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo’s Test Engineering Internships are offered in our Advanced Cellular, Connect & Sensor, Global Operations, and High Performance Analog business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C++ and Python
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Self-Starter with good communication skills
- Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling
Responsibilities
- Creating automated test software, using language similar to C, to control test equipment and execute test plans
- Supporting RF fixture and/or probe card design activities including PCB design and layout, test socket design, and interface cabling design
- Measuring product using test equipment like DC source/measure units, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and digital pattern generators
- Processing, verifying, and analyzing the measured data; producing clear and concise presentations and reports
- Documenting test system and software designs
- Developing measurement automation using C++ and Microsoft C#.NET or NI Labview along with custom tools
- Developing product interface fixture to probe the product using Altium Designer and Keysight ADS

- Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)
