About The Position

Hitachi Vantara Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Intern to join its Test Engineering team in Norman, Oklahoma. The intern will support automation, data analysis, and production support projects; develop software applications; maintain and support tools used in engineering and manufacturing operations; research technical issues; and assist with production test systems and computer equipment. The role is intended for students pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. The schedule requires at least 20 hours per week during school months and 40 hours per week during summer months.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Experience with software programming and application development.
Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis concepts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Able to work at least 20 hours per week during school months and 40 hours per week during summer months.
Must follow company safety and security protocol.
Must be capable of performing the essential functions of a position within a manufacturing facility.
