Electronics Test Engineering Intern

SAAZ Micro Inc.•Camarillo, CA

About The Position

The Electronics Test Engineering Intern supports testing and test activities for visible and infrared focal plane arrays. Under the guidance of engineering staff, the intern performs electrical and optical testing of semiconductor wafers, detectors, arrays, and focal plane array assemblies; supports wafer probing and device characterization; and assists with test-system development, setup, validation, and troubleshooting. The role includes collecting and analyzing data, maintaining test documentation, following laboratory safety and cleanroom procedures, and collaborating with engineers and technical staff. Success is measured by accurate execution of test procedures and reliable data collection, timely completion of assigned activities, effective operation of basic laboratory equipment, quality documentation and analysis, progress in understanding focal plane array testing, and compliance with safety, cleanroom, and ESD procedures. The intern is also expected to communicate anomalies and equipment issues and demonstrate initiative, learning, and collaboration.
