About The Position

As a Test Engineer supporting the GPSR Space Systems Business, you will be a member of or lead a cross-functional team responsible for Module and System Testing of GPSR Space Systems. You will be part of the GD-MS Scottsdale, AZ Campus and will be required to have a Secret Clearance at time of hire. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan Test Readiness Reviews, staffing, environmental testing, and transitions between vibration, thermal-vacuum, and functional test activities.
  • Understand test procedures, automated scripts, post-processing tools, and test results.
  • Operate and troubleshoot RF test systems, GPS signal simulators, and supporting test equipment.
  • Understand system test equipment architecture, interfaces, power delivery, protection circuits, and instrumentation.
  • Review test data for unit-level changes and long-term trends across production lots.
  • Verify test equipment configuration, calibration status, and readiness before testing.
