About The Position

As a Test Engineer supporting the GPSR Space Systems Business, you will be a member of or lead a cross-functional team responsible for Module and System Testing of GPSR Space Systems. This role involves planning test readiness reviews, staffing, environmental testing, and transitions between vibration, thermal-vacuum, and functional test activities. You will also be responsible for understanding and operating test procedures, automated scripts, post-processing tools, and test results. Additionally, you will operate and troubleshoot RF test systems, GPS signal simulators, and supporting test equipment, while understanding system test equipment architecture, interfaces, power delivery, protection circuits, and instrumentation. A key part of this role is reviewing test data for unit-level changes and long-term trends across production lots, and verifying test equipment configuration, calibration status, and readiness before testing. We are looking for motivated individuals who are driven to innovate around design for test architectures, assembly, component selection, and Special Test Equipment (STE) design. Experience in Research & Development, including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing, is highly valued. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
