About The Position

This co-op position involves assisting the Software Test team in daily software and associated hardware verification activities throughout the software development lifecycle. The role includes testing merge requests and formal verification and validation (V&V). The co-op will also help build automation test suites, discover product defects through testing, reproduce failure modes, and communicate test results to the R&D team. Additionally, the position involves participating in the development of scripts for automation of testing and data analysis, and assisting in other R&D activities as needed.

Requirements

• Prior work experience in Python, C++ or any scripting languages and basics of software testing
• Basic understanding of Machine Learning
• Good documentation skills and knowledge of why it is important
• Ability to analyze, understand and communicate technical information
• Organization and attention to detail
• Adept at managing multiple tasks, prioritization and working with others
• An innate desire to understand how things work, as well as how they may fail
• Interest in medical devices, bioimaging and software design
• Rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in software engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, or a related technical area.

Responsibilities
