Responsibilities

  • Provide TF sustaining support for deployed fixtures to ensure minimal down time and customer impact.
  • Coordinates/Performs test fixture PM and Calibration activities as scheduled and follows-up on OOT issues as required.
  • Leads test fixture equipment maintenance program and coordinates efforts accordingly.
  • Tracks metrics and report out performance, and initiate CIP opportunities as required based on historical data.
  • Interfaces with other test engineers and BU customers to coordinate the deployment of new test fixtures.
  • Drives new test fixture designs and implement as necessary.
  • Manages multiple development projects simultaneously and delivers to predetermined project requirements.
  • Regularly interacts with customer on deliverables and responsible for reporting out project/program performance.
  • Documents and tracks deployment issues to closure and initiates appropriate engineering change request as required.
  • Drives applicable manufacturing engineering ePLC deliverables.
  • Estimates test fixture manufacturing cost, determines scheduling requirements and makes recommendations for new fixture designs.
  • Leads teams across multiple functional groups in the use of DFx principles to reduce costs and improve delivered quality.
  • Leads the development of SOW's for assigned test fixtures and/or test programs.
  • Coordinates efforts of all stakeholders to ensure alignment on test specs and project requirements.
  • May assist in the coordination and/or execution of test fixture sourcing activities.
  • Drives test mapping/gap analysis exercises as requested.
  • Participates in the preparation of concept and feasibility studies.
  • Gathers operational test data and evaluates results; manages corrective actions.
  • Evaluates work methods, procedures and policies.
  • Identifies, documents and implements new business processes and efficiency improvement tools.
  • Mentors and trains lower level engineers; identifies training needs, updates training curriculums, and develops training programs.
  • Coordinates sourcing activities with external suppliers, as required.
  • Ensures SOW alignment with supplier and drive projects to closure per customer expectations.
  • Leads Process Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis when working with New Product Development.
