About The Position

The Test Engineer IV will lead test engineering activities in a high-volume manufacturing environment, supporting the development, integration, and continuous improvement of next-generation compute platforms, including AI/ML, GPGPU, server, networking, and storage systems. The role focuses on product quality, system performance, operational excellence, advanced troubleshooting, automation, and team leadership. The position is based on-site in Florence, Kentucky, with a 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. schedule: Wednesday–Saturday in week one and Thursday–Saturday in week two. The engineer designs and maintains test procedures, systems, hardware, and software; conducts failure analysis and root-cause investigations; supports production and new-product introductions; and analyzes test logs, system data, and manufacturing metrics. The role also covers networking and Linux systems, as well as liquid-cooling and thermal systems, including liquid-cooling components, instrumentation, leak detection, coolant safety, and immersion and direct-to-chip technologies. Leadership duties include mentoring engineers and technicians, recruiting and developing talent, setting performance goals, coaching employees, leading workcell test engineering teams and customer programs, and communicating technical findings to stakeholders and customers. The role applies LEAN principles and quality metrics to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. The work combines office and manufacturing-floor activities in a modern, climate-controlled production environment. Required PPE includes safety shoes, eyewear, hearing protection, and an ESD vest; production areas have moderate noise levels.
