About The Position

Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Test and Launch Engineer to join its Launch Operations and OLS Test Operations team. The role focuses on electrical instrumentation and controls systems supporting ground operations, including testing, maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting electrical components across fluid, mechanical, and electronic systems at the launch facility. The position supports New Glenn launch infrastructure at LC36 and helps ensure facility readiness for flight and ground-test operations through pre-flight verification, post-launch inspections, post-flight data review, and rapid restoration to a launch-ready state. The engineer will develop and maintain maintenance and test documentation, work instructions, inspection plans, and work orders; maintain facility and equipment configuration; support root-cause analysis and corrective actions; and implement and commission engineering design changes that improve safety or reliability. The work involves collaboration with design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams, and requires a strong commitment to safety and applicable quality standards. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The role is located in the Space Coast, Florida area, with relocation available. The position requires working indoors and outdoors throughout all four seasons and in varied weather conditions.
