Test Engineer II (Fluids) | Launch Ops - Shifts B, C and D

BLUE ORIGIN•West Melbourne, FL
•Onsite

About The Position

Blue Origin seeks a hands-on, detail-oriented Test Engineer to join the Launch Operations and OLS Test Operations team. The role supports New Glenn launch infrastructure at Launch Complex 36 by operating, maintaining, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting ground support equipment and fluid systems. Relevant systems include pneumatic, mechanical, cryogenic, peroxide, and environmental control systems. The engineer helps ensure the facility is ready for flight and ground-test operations through pre-flight verification testing, post-launch inspections, review of post-flight ground-system data, and prompt restoration of launch readiness. The position combines routine operations and maintenance with engineering process development and continuous improvement. The engineer translates engineering requirements into repeatable test and maintenance processes, develops work instructions and inspection plans, drafts and reviews maintenance work orders, maintains facility and equipment configuration, and supports root-cause analysis and corrective actions. The role also implements and commissions engineering design changes that improve safety and reliability, while coordinating with engineering, quality, supply chain, and production teams. Work must comply with applicable quality and safety standards and support a high-cadence launch operation. The position is based at LC-36 in the Space Coast, Florida area. The posting lists three shift options: B, Monday–Friday, 5 p.m.–3 a.m.; C, Friday–Sunday, 6 a.m.–6 p.m.; or D, Friday–Sunday, 6 p.m.–6 a.m. Relocation is available. The work is physically active and takes place indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.
