About The Position

The Test Debug Supervisor oversees a group of debug technicians, ensuring they perform debug tasks with appropriate priority and efficiency. The role is responsible for ensuring technicians receive proper training and that staffing levels support the required workload.

The supervisor assigns and prioritizes the team's workload, monitors performance and compliance with work rules, and works with test engineers on technician training. The position may also request additional resources, conduct interviews, and support hiring as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of electronics test and debug.
• Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or Computer Science.
• 1–2 years of experience in electronic manufacturing or electronics system-level testing/debug, such as PC, server, or switch.
• 1–2 years of experience managing a team of four or more employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a shift of debug technicians to ensure they follow proper debug procedures and work efficiently toward daily output goals.
• Distribute and prioritize debug work among the technician team.
• Ensure staffing levels support the workload, requesting additional resources and completing interviews and hiring as needed.
• Partner with test engineers to ensure debug technicians receive proper training.
• Monitor technician performance and compliance with work rules, including punctuality and break-time compliance.
• Address concerns and apply progressive discipline policies when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
