Requirements

  • End‑to‑End Test Planning & Coordination: Proven ability to plan and orchestrate SIT and UAT activities across complex software deployments, aligning schedules, scope, and readiness with Waterfall delivery milestones.
  • Testing Governance & Control Discipline: Strong understanding of SDLC controls, test entry/exit criteria, and formal sign‑off processes, ensuring testing is executed in a consistent, controlled, and compliant manner.
  • Audit & SOX Compliance Expertise: Experience producing and maintaining audit‑ready testing documentation, traceability, and evidence, with confidence supporting audit reviews and release readiness assessments.
  • Stakeholder Management & Clear Communication: Ability to act as a trusted point of coordination across IT, business, project, and audit stakeholders, clearly communicating status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Defect Oversight & Triage Facilitation: Skilled in overseeing defect management, facilitating triage discussions, and driving timely resolution without hands‑on testing involvement.
  • Test Reporting & Data‑Driven Insight: Strong capability to produce clear, accurate test status reports, defect summaries, and executive‑level dashboards that support informed go/no‑go decisions.
  • Azure DevOps Test & Defect Management: Hands‑on proficiency using Azure DevOps to manage test plans, execution tracking, defects, and supporting evidence throughout the testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end SIT and UAT testing events for software deployment projects.
  • Develop and maintain testing schedules aligned with project milestones, deployment timelines, and Waterfall governance gates.
  • Facilitate test readiness activities, including entry/exit criteria definition, environment coordination, and test scope alignment.
  • Oversee the creation, review, and execution tracking of test plans, test cases, and test cycles within Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor test execution progress, validate results, and ensure defects are properly logged, tracked, and communicated.
  • Coordinate defect triage discussions with development, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Generate clear, accurate test status reports, defect summaries, and test outcome dashboards for project and leadership review.
  • Produce and maintain audit- and SOX-compliant testing documentation, including evidence of execution and traceability.
  • Manage and document formal test sign-offs, approvals, and UAT acceptance from authorized business and IT stakeholders.
  • Ensure testing activities adhere to organizational standards, SDLC controls, and internal audit expectations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for test-related inquiries during audits, reviews, and release readiness assessments.
  • Identify testing risks, issues, and dependencies early and escalate appropriately with recommended mitigation actions.
  • Continuously improve testing coordination processes, templates, and reporting practices to increase efficiency and transparency.
