About The Position

Alcool NB Liquor is currently undergoing an exciting multi-year business transformation project, including the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365. The Test Automation Specialist ensures the quality and reliability of testing practices within our enterprise-wide business transformation program. Reporting to the QA Lead, they are responsible for implementing and maintaining automated testing frameworks to enable repeatable, scalable, and high-quality regression testing. As the project enters the System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, the Specialist will support increasingly complex testing requirements and drive continuous improvement across QA practices.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in software testing and quality assurance
  • Working knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Executive Automats, TestRail, Selenium, or similar)
  • Familiarity with programming concepts and the software development lifecycle
  • Enjoyment in troubleshooting and solving complex issues within a team
  • Must be based in New Brunswick
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Canada

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ERP implementations, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Experience with the Azure technology stack
  • Bilingualism in both official languages

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using low-code/no-code tools (e.g. Executive Automats)
  • Collaborating with QA, DevOps, and functional teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • Supporting test case creation and execution aligned with acceptance criteria and business flows
  • Ensuring test coverage across D365 Finance & Operations (F&O), ISVs, and integrated systems
  • Providing training and guidance to BAs and project team, including BAs and Key Users on automation best practices
  • Supporting performance and load testing initiatives where applicable
