About The Position

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking an English-fluent Test Automation Engineer to provide expert services remotely within the EU. For the initial assignment, the successful candidate will join the company's Development team, working closely with a major client's IT team. The role focuses on defining and implementing test automation approaches and frameworks for UI, backend, and data-driven products; creating and maintaining reliable, fast-feedback, and maintainable automated test suites; increasing test coverage; mentoring test engineers; and promoting adoption of automation frameworks and patterns.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 5 years.
• At least 5 years of experience with test automation patterns and frameworks for UI, backend, and data-driven testing.
• Experience with Java, Java/TypeScript, or Python; Python is preferred.
• Experience with common automation tools such as Tosca, Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.
• Experience creating and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Experience creating and maintaining test automation suites.
• Experience embedding automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines and using results as quality and promotion gates.
• Experience integrating test automation suite results into test management tools.
• Experience with complex enterprise system integration.
• Experience with agile software development and testing methodologies.
• Excellent command of English.

Nice To Haves

• Python experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define test automation approaches and patterns suited to UI, backend, and data-driven products.
• Create test automation frameworks and patterns that support reliable, fast-feedback, and maintainable test suites.
• Create and review test cases and test automation suites to increase test coverage efficiently.
• Mentor test engineers in understanding and applying test automation frameworks and patterns when creating automated tests.
• Drive proof of concepts and adoption of test automation frameworks and patterns.
• Embed automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines and use their results as quality and promotion gates.
• Integrate test automation suite results into test management tools.
