About The Position

Trupanion is seeking a Territory Partner to serve as an Independent Business Owner representing Trupanion within the Southern Connecticut market. This role involves building a business from the ground up in the thriving pet insurance industry. The Territory Partner will act as a consultant and exclusive representative for Trupanion's pet health insurance product, building relationships with veterinarians, vet techs, and office staff to educate them on the benefits of Trupanion for their practice, companion animals, and families. The position offers the potential for uncapped income through a commission-based model with monthly residuals.

Requirements

  • Reside in Connecticut.
  • Available to dedicate at least 40 hours a week to building the business.
  • Background in sales, business ownership, and/or the veterinary industry.
  • Must be or become Property & Casualty licensed in the state of residence (if selected for the Brooklyn and Queens market, this is a requirement).

Responsibilities

  • Represent Trupanion as the exclusive representative for pet health insurance within the Southern Connecticut market.
  • Build relationships and educate veterinarians, vet techs, and office staff about Trupanion's product.
  • Expand the Territory Partner network and increase direct marketing to veterinarians.
  • Serve as a consultant to Trupanion.
