About The Position

Trupanion is seeking a Territory Partner to serve as an Independent Business Owner representing Trupanion within the Southern Connecticut market. This role involves building a business from the ground up in the thriving pet insurance industry. The Territory Partner will act as a consultant and exclusive representative for Trupanion's pet health insurance product, building relationships with and educating veterinarians, vet techs, and office staff. The goal is to increase the number of hospitals that actively introduce Trupanion to their clients, thereby expanding the Territory Partner network and direct marketing efforts. This is not a franchise or brokerage, and does not require a brick-and-mortar operation.

Requirements

  • Reside in Connecticut.
  • Available to dedicate at least 40 hours a week to building your business.
  • Background in sales, business ownership, and/or the veterinary industry.
  • Must be or become Property & Casualty licensed in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Trupanion within the Southern Connecticut market as an Independent Business Owner.
  • Serve as a consultant to Trupanion and the exclusive representative for the pet health insurance product.
  • Build relationships and educate veterinarians, vet techs, and office staff about Trupanion's benefits.
  • Increase the number of hospitals that actively introduce Trupanion to their clients.
  • Expand the Territory Partner network and direct marketing to veterinarians.
