Territory Sales Manager - Central Canada

About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining and growing sales within an assigned geographical territory in Central Canada, aligning with the company's overall sales and marketing objectives. The Territory Sales Manager will achieve sales objectives, schedule customer contacts, develop strong customer relationships, and train customer personnel on product features. The position involves keeping customers informed about products and programs, utilizing customer parts usage reports to identify sales opportunities, gathering competitive information, and reporting competitive actions to the sales team and management. The role requires completing sales call reports in Salesforce or other CRM programs, following up on customer issues and sales opportunities, and exercising good judgment in expense control and fiscal responsibility. Additionally, the role involves conducting bi-weekly conference calls, assisting with trade shows, performing sales analysis, and making high-level presentations to customers.

Requirements

  • College degree and/or 5 years of related industry selling experience.
  • Must be able to make public presentations.
  • Computer skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Products.
  • Possess strong and keen business acumen.
  • Possess strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and be a 'Team Player'.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales objectives within assigned territory.
  • Schedule customer contacts via in-person visits and telephone.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel within the assigned geographical territory customer base.
  • Train and update customer personnel on IRMN features and functions.
  • Keep customers informed on all products and programs.
  • Obtain and utilize customer parts usage reports to secure additional sales and determine product offering requirements.
  • Gather competitive literature and promotional material with customer consent.
  • Inform sales, customer service staff, and management of competitive actions in the market.
  • Complete sales call reports and respective actions in Salesforce or other internal CRM programs after each sales call.
  • Keep contact information current and up to date.
  • Follow up consistently and timely with customers, inside sales, customer service staff, and management to address issues or sales opportunities.
  • Utilize good judgment in regard to entertaining and general expense control and fiscal responsibility.
  • Conduct bi-weekly scheduled conference calls to update sales staff and management on sales opportunities, competitive actions, and customer service issues.
  • Assist and attend trade shows and conventions as required.
  • Conduct sales analysis reports and presentations to staff and management as required.
  • Make high-level presentations to customer staff and related companies.
