About The Position

The Territory Sales Manager position is primarily responsible for generating profitable revenue within a defined geographic region. In this role, we are seeking someone with excellent organizational and sales skills. We expect you to be an outstanding communicator who can fully understand customer needs. This position will work strategically and closely with the Sales Director to build a strong partnership and be part of a committed team focused on increasing revenue within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • University degree (bachelor’s), or an equivalent combination of industry-related experience and training.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial or distribution sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supported by active listening.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Team spirit and ability to adapt to different personality types.
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to remain focused in high-stress situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel 15–20%.
  • Strong sales-driven mindset with high motivation to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Excellent skills in prospecting, account qualification, and phone sales.
  • Strong understanding of our sales process.
  • Ability to move the sales process forward from start to close.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and strong relationships with customers.
  • Mastery of our products and services, including knowledge of their applications.
  • Ability to develop and communicate value propositions to support customer initiatives.
  • Determine the most efficient shipping methods for order fulfillment.
  • Maintain clear communication throughout the entire order process, including after-sales follow-up.
  • Ability to use the Salesforce CRM program to track and manage the sales process.
  • Maintain an active and healthy pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Prepare visit and call reports.
  • Handle customer complaints and/or urgent situations by providing appropriate solutions — turning complaints into business opportunities.
