About The Position

Reporting to the National Sales Director, Physicians and as a member of the Physician Customer Engagement team, the Territory Sales Manager, Physicians will play a key role in the success of our biosimilar immunology brands as well as our specialty generic products with various specialists, including rheumatologists, gastroenterologists, and dermatologists. Sandoz continues to go through an exciting and transformative period as a global leader and pioneering provider of sustainable Biosimilar and Generic medicines. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business administration, pharmaceuticals, or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in Canada, with specialist physicians.
  • Oral and written fluency in English is required for regular communication with customers, partners, and/or colleagues, whether in Canada or internationally.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience working with a CRM system.
  • Demonstrated interest and comfort with new technologies.
  • Familiarity with virtual engagement platforms such as MS Teams.
  • Must be based in the Vancouver area.
  • Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory in BC.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong business acumen and motivation to understand the market and its dynamics.
  • Agile, self-directed, and able to perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence high-impact agreements.
  • Positive attitude with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Highly organized with strong priority-setting skills and high level of autonomy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experiences with biologic or biosimilar products in immunology, gastroenterology or dermatology, important assets.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve all business objectives for the territory, including sales and growth targets.
  • Promote our products and services to key opinion leaders, targeted specialists, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
  • Understand customer needs and provide solutions that serve the interests of patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop, implement, and manage a territory business plan in collaboration with all members of the cross-functional team.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned products and disease areas.
  • Planning and organizing speakers’ programs and other peer to peer activities in territory with partnership with medical.
  • Analyze metrics and prepare reports on sales performance, monthly plans, and call activity.
  • Act as a role model for Sandoz’s standards, values, leadership behaviors, and best business practices (including compliance with IMC standards and Sandoz Code of Conduct).
