About The Position

Abby Care is tackling the challenge of family caregiving by training and employing family caregivers so they can get paid for the care they already provide at home. They are building a tech-powered, family-first care platform to deliver care, improve health outcomes, and provide a best-in-class experience nationwide. Abby Care is rapidly expanding and has partnered with leading insurance plans, healthcare providers, and community organizations, supported by top VCs. This role is a ground-floor opportunity to own the Boston market, navigate the healthcare landscape, and establish Abby Care's model as the gold standard for families. They are looking for a builder with a hunter mentality, grit, self-discipline, and the ability to simplify complexity. Requirements

  • Hunter Mentality: 1–5 years of experience in a relevant role (Sales, Recruiting, Business Development, etc.) where you were responsible for hitting a number.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: Capacity to quickly learn and speak the language of a clinician with confidence.
  • Operational Rigor: Understanding that "if it isn’t in the CRM, it didn’t happen." Disciplined daily cadence and a high degree of self-accountability.
  • Resilience: Energized by the word "No." Understanding that building a new market requires high activity and persistent follow-up.
  • Local Roots: Currently reside in the Greater Boston area and are ready to be in the field daily.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through provider commitment through Qualified Lead processing
  • Engage physicians, administrators and clinical decision makers to drive adoption
  • Navigate clinical objections, compliance considerations and operational workflows
  • Convert qualified leads into signed participation
  • Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline in Salesforce
  • Prioritize high-intent providers - progress & nurture them
  • Forecast accurately and consistently against quota
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth activation and onboarding
  • Focus on providers, pediatrics, therapists, specialists, case management companies and other clinical practices within assigned territories
  • Execute targeted outbound strategies
