Requirements

  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Distribution or relevant field.
  • Proven work experience and track record
  • Experience managing a high-volume sales territory in a technical field.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
  • Strong customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Availability to travel extensively internally and within NAM.
  • A valid and clear driver's license and passport may be required for travel purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to travel throughout the province extensively and less frequently within Canada and/ or North America as required.
  • Work with distributor partners to implement cohesive strategies to grow market share.
  • Gain trusted advisor status with key end user accounts to become the key contact for our offerings.
  • Support the implementation of company initiatives.
  • Responsible for day-to-day local business decisions in region.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, product development and new product release activities.
  • Demonstrate business acumen and a keen interest in business matters in the province.
  • Orchestrate use of internal resources i.e. product specialists, engineers, industry specialists and TMs from other groups to build relationships with end user stakeholders.
  • Build strong internal company and customer relationships with other personnel, including global support team members, factory representatives and other departments.
  • Employ good habits for constant development and growth.
