About The Position

Polycor is seeking a Territory Manager to grow market share across the Western U.S. through customer relationship management, new business development, and engagement with architects, designers, and specifiers. The ideal candidate is a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships and creating new opportunities in the construction and design markets.

Requirements

  • Product expertise in natural stone solutions.
  • Ability to travel approximately 60% within the territory.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams.
  • Ability to communicate market feedback.
  • Completion of Predictive Index assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a multi-state territory (AK, CA, HI, OR, WA) with full accountability for revenue performance and market expansion.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers, including fabricators, distributors, and dealers.
  • Drive organic growth through proactive account management, product training, and joint sales initiatives.
  • Partner with customers on project opportunities to increase share of wallet.
  • Actively prospect and acquire new customers across fabricators, distributors, and hardscape/masonry dealers.
  • Utilize a multi-channel approach including in-person visits, phone outreach, email campaigns, and social media selling.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently meet or exceed new business targets.
  • Build relationships with design/build, high end residential, architects, designers, and specifiers to drive product specifications.
  • Deliver product presentations and continuing education (CEU) sessions to influence project decisions.
  • Position Polycor as a preferred natural stone partner in the A&D community.
  • Represent Polycor’s full product portfolio including limestone, marble, granite, fabricated stone, and Vetrazzo.
  • Educate customers on applications, features, and competitive advantages of natural stone solutions.
  • Travel approximately 60% within the territory to maintain strong market presence, customer engagement, and develop prospect opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Director to set goals, refine strategy, and track performance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates in CRM, including activity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Provide regular insights and territory analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Participate in weekly team calls, and monthly 1-on-1’s.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from leads, customers, prospects, calls, emails, internal teams, etc. within 12 to 24 hours.
  • Ensure 100% Salesforce compliance.
  • Conduct 30 - 35 meetings per month.
  • Deliver 2 CEU presentations per month.
  • Maintain expected pipeline of XX in new project opportunities.
  • Maintain expected pipeline of XX in new dealer, distributor, fabricator opportunities.
  • Target 80% effort prospecting, 20% effort with existing customers.
  • Ensure open opportunities activity, close dates, and information are accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure consistent and up to date open leads follow up.
  • Partner with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance, leadership) to support customer needs and drive business results.
  • Communicate market feedback to help inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
