About The Position

Responsible for the delivery of the service promise to our customers while selling, servicing profitable accounts. This role requires the individual to currently reside in the Detroit area. The Territory Manager will be responsible for annual sales growth through retaining existing accounts, growing current accounts, and acquiring new ones. They will service existing accounts through regular contact and make cold calls to service new and profitable accounts. The role demands knowledge of products, services, machine limitations, and costing variables. The Territory Manager will follow up and communicate customer specifications for orders, process required paperwork, and provide information to the Field Sales Manager for the annual sales budget. Additionally, they will coordinate entertainment activities to build customer relationships, conduct business professionally, and be active in the community to build business networks. Collaboration with team members is essential for rapid customer response and promoting a positive company image. The role involves providing weekly pipeline updates to the Director of Sales and Field Sales Managers, ensuring new item information accuracy, submitting accurate monthly expense reports, and attending bi-weekly sales meetings. Utilizing sales resources for selling strategies is also a key aspect of the position.

Requirements

  • MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE DETROIT AREA
  • High functioning user of the Amtech operating system.
  • Ability to use Excel, VPS and email communication.
  • Needs to be able to communicate effectively both verbally and via email.
  • Proficient user of all forms for Customer Service, Design and Estimating/Pricing.
  • Highly organized and utilizes effective time management.
  • Strong written and oral communication.

  • Hand delivers all quotes.
  • Responsible for annual sales growth (retain, grow, new).
